VIII.    The President’s Report

Jim noted that his term ends at the end of December, 2007 and that 2008 will be a transition year as all CCN-North America functions will leave the cathedral in Cincinnati at that time.

Jim challenged the new president to increase the cohesiveness of the entire North American membership and to recruit new members to the Board.

Jim recommended that Cross of Nails centers be designated independently of Coventry Cathedral.  Christian groups would receive the Cross of Nails and reconciliation groups would be presented with the reconciliation statue.

Jim thanked Kathy Noe, his secretary, for her invaluable assistance during his tenure as president.

IX.       The report of the Executive Secretary

Matilda reviewed the roster and the membership numbers.  It was noted that we always are able to recruit new members from our booth at General Convention.

There was a discussion of the need to stagger memberships so that members rotate on and off the Board smoothly and without a disproportionate number of members entering or leaving at one time.

X.        Report of the Treasurer and presentation of the 2008 Budget

Scott Erickson has taken a new, demanding job in Washington, DC and has resigned from the board.  After some discussion Mark Pendleton agreed to serve out Scott’s term as Treasurer (two years).  Mark will re-issue the financial report and recast the 2008 budget and then submit those reports to the board.
